SLI Celebración '25

Evening highlights will include sharing by SLI alumni, a fajita bar with locally sourced Mexican cuisine, wine and local beers, the music of Lua Project, a 50/50 raffle and silent auction, and more! Unable to attend? Support SLI with a donation instead here!

Beginning at 5:30, a happy hour will feature music by Lua Project, an open bar with wine and local beers, and chips and salsa. Dinner will then include a fajita bar with shredded chicken and pork carnitas, corn and flour tortillas, beans, Spanish rice, roasted vegetables, curtido, guacamole and queso fresco, salsa and pico de gallo, and fresh kale chop chop salad – with coffee, flan, Mexican wedding cookies, fresh fruits, and chocolate chili bites for dessert. Vendors include La Bendición Bakery, A Bowl of Good, La Morena, El Sol, Merge, and others.

Business casual, 21+. Bring cash for 50/50 raffle tickets ($5 each or 5 for $20). Silent auction items provided by Parentheses Books, Silk Moth Stage, Edible Landscaping, Massanutten Resort, Mary Jo’s Flowers, Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn, Luray Caverns, and others.

Event parking is available in the signposted lot across from Magpie Diner, on the surrounding streets, in the lot behind Liberty St. Mercantile, and in the lot located at the corner of N. Main Street and Gay Street (at the Rockingham County admin building). Handicap-accessible parking spaces are provided at the posted areas adjacent to the sidewalks and behind Liberty St. Mercantile.
